THE STORY BEHIND ONUR ÇANKA'S CREATIONS

Living and creating in the coastal town of Çeşme, Onur draws inspiration from the sea, mythology, and the eternal cycle of nature. Though he began with clay, he found his truth in wood — in the act of creation by subtraction. Each piece comes from fallen trees, a second life given shape by respect and instinct.

For him, sculpting is a conversation with nature, not a conquest.
